  • 26012235 Boot Barn Shoplifting

    On September 4, 2026, two white middle-aged men came into the store at about 1942 hrs. They both tried on boots, placing their own shoes under the bench by the 9.5/10 western boot bunker. They then left the store. The manager believes that they got into a red semi and left the area. The first suspect was estimated to be 36-50 years old and between 5’3”-5’9”. He was wearing a black baseball cap and a grey T-shirt. The second suspect was estimated to be between 36-50 years old and 5’10”-6’2”. He was wearing a short sleeve T-shirt with a logo on the chest. The Florence Police Investigative Unit is attempting to identify the subject in the attached photograph.   • 26011900 JC Penny jewelry theft

    On August 29, an unknown white male entered JCPenney and cut the security wire securing a jewelry display case that was sitting on a counter. The male then grabbed the display case and entered the fitting rooms, where he removed all of the jewelry from the case.
    The majority of the stolen jewelry consisted of 14K gold cross necklaces and a heart-shaped locket. The total reported loss is $32,849.39.
    Photographs of the suspect and several of the higher-value stolen jewelry items are attached.
