  • Stolen Vehicle/ Fictious Plate

On 09/22/2026 around 0200 hours, a 2020 black Kia Telluride was stolen from Union Township. A Flock search showed the victim’s vehicle traveling in tandem with a new red Acura RDX SUV bearing Ohio license plate GOZ 3103. Both vehicles stopped by Speedway, where a subject from the stolen Kia Telluride made a purchase inside. License plate GOZ 3103 is registered to a 2008 Lincoln 4-door. A 30-day Flock search does not show that license plate on any Lincoln vehicles. I did locate a Flock detection of GOZ 3103 on the red Acura following a grey/silver newer model Audi SUV on 9/22/26 at 1:25 AM in Newtown, OH, which was involved in an additional vehicle theft. The license plate on the Flock search has also been detected on a Nissan Maxima, and the majority of the detections have been located in the Dayton area. If anyone has any stolen vehicle offenses, associations with OH- GOZ 3103, or can assist with identification of the suspect in the photo, please contact me at (513) 753-2243 or mcooper@utclermont.gov.

  • Older Adult Scam / Robbery

On September 23, 2026, at approximately 3:00 PM, an older adult was scammed out of $15,000 in the Walmart parking lot. The incident began when two suspects, one male and one female, approached the victim and claimed they had won the lottery and needed assistance converting their winnings into larger denominations.
The victim agreed to help and drove the male suspect to CinFed Credit Union, located at 7661 Reading Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45237, where they withdrew $15,000 in cash. Afterward, the victim drove back to Walmart in Evendale with the male suspect.
At that point, the victim realized something was wrong and screamed, “Thief!” The male suspect then grabbed the victim’s purse, which contained the cash, and ran away. The suspects were driving a black Buick Enclave with no tag.
Attached are photos of the suspects and their vehicle. If you recognize these suspects or their vehicle, or if you have recently taken similar reports in your area, please get in touch with the Evendale Police Department. Sgt. Tina McCormick or Detective Dolores Santillan 513-563-2249

On 07/28/26 a commercial business in Blue Ash had catalytic convertors cut off several vehicles and tools stolen from a unsecured box truck. A vehicle identified in the offense OH/KWA7272 registered to a Rudy L Harris control 1791651 was used.
